Raising money for Volunteer Reading Help

VRH aims to build a nation of confident children who are literate for life. It recruits and trains volunteers to give the gift of reading to disadvantaged children. VRH reading helpers work in the most deprived areas of England to provide one-to-one support to children with poor literacy skills.

If you haven’t already had the pleasure of seeing my super cool new running trainers, you probably won’t know that I am running this year’s London Marathon.

Whilst I am a keen runner, a marathon is still a mammoth challenge. I am raising money for Volunteer Reading Help. They are a national charity sending volunteers into schools to help children develop a love of reading and learning.
