My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

All of Katrinas friends are shocked, stunned and saddened by her sudden passing on Sunday 6th November 2011. 

She leaves behind two amazing children Ben and Jess.  Our hearts are with them  and also Katrinas parents and siblings.

Her friends on the Joanna Sheen forum wanted to do something special in her name - and this charity will help . 

And in less than 12 hours we have raised the target - thank you SO MUCH  and just over 24 hours and we are raising the bar again!   - I am just so delighted that people are supporting this - reading the messages on here as well is a comfort knowing how loved Katrina was.

So please dig deep and donate now.

 

I had been trying to remember this verse - and finally found it - I think it is apt and sums it all up - how we should remember this lovely lady - with her ready smile and kind heart

                                Afterglow 
I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one, 

I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.

I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,

of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.

I’d like the tears of those who grieve,

to dry before the sun of happy memories that I leave behind when day is done.
