All those taking part in Miles 4 Mel are raising money for Get A Head, a fantastic charity which provides support for, and research into, head & neck cancers. We're doing this in memory of Mel Jaggard who sadly passed away in 2013 from Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma (ACC) which is a very rare form of cancer.

This year, in 2016, Miles 4 Mel is back for the third times in memory of Mel and to raise more vitally important money for the Get A Head charitable trust.

This charity is also important to me on another more personal note as my mother was diagnosed with head & neck cancer 3 years ago and although she won the battle and survived, she is still living with the after effects of the treatment that she went through. I am raising money to support all those people who continue to suffer through this illness, both during and after treatment.
