Thanks for taking the time to visit Katya's birthday page.

She was quite distressed watching the plight of the Haitians in the aftermath of the earthquake and a day or so in the tragedy contacted local charities to see if she could come and help. This was not and is still not easy, but I thought that in the meanwhile we could help her help Haitian victims by donating to charity instead of buying birthday presents.

I explored the idea in a roundabout way and it appealed to her. Hence this page.
