Great North Swim 2009 · 12 September 2009 ·

Every 9 days in Scotland a baby or child will die suddenly and unexpectedly - many of their families will never know why they died. As the only charity in Scotland dedicated to the issue of Sudden Unexpected Death in Infancy (SUDI), we provide support, education resources and fund research.

Story

Thank you everyone so much for all your very generous donations!! Sue completed the swim in 1hour and 10 minutes. She bravely ventured into the water alone (well with another 3000 swimmers) as I was advised not to take part as I am pregnant and the water is apparently minging!!

So although a little dissapointed (alongside my great excitement) was very proud of my mum and have an automatic entry to next year!!

I have added a couple of photos from the day that Dad took. It was a great day out and would recommend it to anyone. We should have reached our target once it is all tallied up and I'm sure this amount will make a big difference to the Cot Death Trust.

Thank you again to everyone
