As many of you will know my dad was diagnosed with the early onset of Alzheimer’s 3 years ago. To watch a loved one go through this horrible illness is horrendous. Dad has his bad and good days but continues to smile through it all. It’s the year of my dads 70th birthday so I thought it would be good to raise money to try and help the Alzheimer’s charity. I have never completed a full on triathlon and I won’t lie the swim in the Thames scares me slightly! If you are able to spare any money no matter how small I would be very grateful.
