Update - 27th March 2011 - Just 3 weeks to go and the VLM 2011 will be done and dusted.  Today we did our last long training runs.  Nicky and Harp opted for 16 miles while I stubbornly set off for a 22 miler you can read more about my training at http://kayruns.blogspot.com, Our running buddy Liz also raising money for age uk also opted for 22 miles.

So its taper time now and time to concentrated on our fundraising!

Thank you to everyone who has supported our fundraising so far and a big thankyou to Adele who did a sponsored swim to support our fundraising. Her efforts have meant we can reduce our target from £62 per mile to £56 per mile.

On the 17th April 2011 Kay, Nicola and Harp will be running the Virgin London Marathon and hoping to raise at least £62 per mile in support of Age UK.

At the moment we are just running for fun in the snow and getting ready  to start our 16 week training on the 27th December!

We will keep you updated on our training and fundraising progress to the start line.
