Hi,
On the 8th July 2006 my stepsister passed away from a rare disease called Alpers. She had been in hospital for 11 months and had battled constant seizures, in and out of intensive care and she lost her sight. Alpers disease is a metabolic disease and currently there is no cure and no treatment. On the 21 March my sister and I are doing a parachute jump (which would have been Katheryn’s 22 birthday) to help raise money for the charity Climb (Children living with Inherited Metabolic Diseases http://www.climb.org.uk/) who offer support for families who have children with these diseases.
Therefore if possible please can you support this fund raising event by sponsoring us. The money raised will go to Climb who look to fight these diseases by funding the research into cures.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
