Assalamualaikum,

It's hard losing one of the closest person in your life in such little time and not being able to say a proper goodbye. If anyone knew me they would know that losing my grandad was one of the hardest thing in my life. So this Ramadan/ year I have decided to honour my grandad by building a well in his name.

The Prophet (saw) was reported to have said: 
"The best charity is to provide water.” [Ibn Majah]

Unfortunately 663 million people in the world – one in ten – do not have clean water. 
This figure is not only shocking but also heartbreaking & we need to provide people with a chance at a better life, it all starts with the gift of clean water.

It costs just £300 to build a well! This Ramadan/ year you will be helping build a well for those unprivileged brothers and sisters who have to walk miles and miles for fresh water.

Insha'allah by donating even £1 you will be helping to build a brighter future for many people. As water projects are considered sadaqah jaariah, not only will you be helping those who need it most you will also be gaining reward for the afterlife. With that said no matter how small or big your donations may be, every penny helps.
