Thank you for taking the time to visit our Cape Town Project JustGiving page.

We are a group of young people aged 15 years who are members of youth participation group at Hackney Quest charity. We are going to Cape Town, South Africa for 10 days in October 2010. The aim of the project is to create unity with people from around the world by learning about our similarities and differences. We want to gain knowledge about ourselves, our team and South African culture. 

We plan to...

- Run self-esteem and empowerment workshops

- Have discussions and workshops with young people from South Africa about gangs, sexual health, deprivation and education

- Make a positive contribution as global citizens by volunteering at a homeless shelter

- Make a financial donation to the young people who we will be working with and hope that it will make a difference to their lives.
