Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Trekking up and down the 3 highest mountains in Britain (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon) within a 24 hour period is not going to be easy. Blisters, insect bites, the heady aroma of my fellow trekkers - the challenges to multiple senses are not to be sniffed at !

The bare facts are that it's a total ascent of 10,500 feet (2 miles vertically) and a walking distance of 25 miles. Total distance covered is a round trip of 1100 miles from Worcester and back. The clock starts from the bottom of Ben Nevis and stops when the descent from Snowdon is complete. It's going to be quite a day ! But it's for a really good cause.

I'm raising funds for St Richard's Hospice in Worcester. It provides palliative care for people with serious illnesses and helps over 2,000 individuals and families per year. Help is provided free of charge but running costs are high - approx £5m per year - and 70% of this figure (£3.5m) must be raised through voluntary donations. This is where you can help.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to St Richard's and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now. Anything you can give will be much appreciated.

Thanks

Mick
