Over the years I have walked, run and climbed to rasie money for the Bridgebuilder Trust. This time I will be attempting with others to canoe the equivalent of the River Thames. The River is 215 miles (344km) long and I will paddling as many 500m lenghts of Caldecotte North lake as I can. I haven't been in a canoe for many years so this will be a big challenge.

I spent a total of 3 hours in kayaks and canoes and covered a total distance of 13 km the team completd 301km which pretty well covered the navigable length of the Thames - 4 more paddlers would have ensured that we hit our target. The pain in my arms and shoulders made drving home uncomfortable and playing guitar on Sunday morning proved to be a painful experience.
