<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="line-height: 115%; color: #333333; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Financial Services got me into “endurance” cycling for good causes.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>I try to do one a year as this is the minimum time to go through the whole process of:- 1). “that sounds good”; 2). the joy of a few months of light training in the summer; 3). the two week pre ride panic, stress and overtraining; 4). the week or so nightmare of the ride; 5). six months of “never again”, before returning to the first stage.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="line-height: 115%; color: #333333; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">This year, I am cycling around 700 miles in eight days from Paris to Pauillac - think of the miles, not the place names!<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>After the first few hours, you tend not to look at anything other than the road immediately ahead.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="line-height: 115%; color: #333333; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">We chose the Steven Gerrard Foundation, supporting Consortium for Street Children, as a good cause that CAERUS could get behind in our first full year.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>As with everything in CAERUS, we want to do as well as possible for this very deserving charity, so please give generously.</span></span></p>
