In April 2012, twenty of my colleagues and I from St. James's Place begin the journey of a lifetime to Everest Base Camp. It's an adventure that I have always wanted to undertake, and to do so with colleagues and at the same time raise £500,000 for our charitable Foundation.

The trek itself is around 60 miles that gets us to Everest Base Camp, at approximately 17,500 ft.

One of our team is then staying on and will attempt to climb Everest itself.
