Five of the nine of us and 2 drivers, aged  18 to a bit more, from the Running  team (lower reaches of the Mole Division) completed the 3 highest Peaks in England, Wales and Scotland in 26 hours on June 3th and 4th 2010. Thanks to a lorry fire on the M6 and a delay of 3 hours we could not complete the task in under 24 hours. 4 of us did almost all of the three mountains but the heat did for us. We also thank the 2 drivers who were happy to support and go without sleep for 36 hours to help us achieve our 1400 mile round trip! However we still completed the team challenge! Well done us!

We are still raising money for the Wasdale Mountain Rescue team . Why?

Well, in February 2010, while we were coming down from Scafell Pike in the Lake District one of us fell about 100 feet and  landed on a ledge the size of a card table! The drop was another 500 feet below! His injuries were serious but thank God he was alive and we were able to raise the alarm. About 20 members of the Wasdale Mountain rescue team brought him down the mountain in thick fog and then darkness. He has fully recovered and came with us on the challenge!
