With as much training as running for a train now and then, I was persuaded to enter into the Barnardo's - J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge.

 

A few trial runs/walks later and I attempted the first 5K I think I've ever run, unless cross country at school was that long. I managed it in 37:13 which is even less time than I thought it would take me!
