I have added a new fundraising site to the Help For Hero's Just Giving. Fototechnique have added a page to their online photo site and will be donating any funds raised by the site through the Charity page. The guy in the picture with his 3 year old daughter is a real veteran, known to me personally and he and his wife have given their kind permission to allow me to raise funds on these images. The Mighty 3rds are all getting on a bit now and numbers are dwindling of active players, I would personally like to thank all who have supported the team and wish them all the best for the future. Great bunch of lads.

The Mighty 3rds are a social side who play the occasional game of rugby then it's in the bar for a few beers. This is where we hatch our plans to raise much needed funds for "The Help for Heroes". So having done the 3 peaks of Yorkshire last summer we are now on to the next event, running in the Blackpool Half Marathon on the 26th Feb 2012.

Easy you might say! but most of us are over 45 years old and had one or two too many pies so a lot of training is in order. But... Our Service Men and Women who risk all every day need our support and we The Mighty 3rds will not shirk our duty and support for our brave soldiers.
