Why did I get involved?

Well, my partner works at Whitchurch High School in Cardiff. She was asked by Rwanda Restored to help raise money for the school that is being built by the charity just outside Kigali, the capital of Rwanda. I was then asked to travel with her to see where the money was going and I was greatly impressed by the work that was being done and I wanted to get more directly involved.

Although the school is already up and running there is still a lot more building work to be done.

To give an orphan a home at the school costs aroubd £300 a year.
