Brighton Marathon 2012 · 15 April 2012 ·

Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can get the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with our support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. We are there when it matters.

Story

Hello again peeps!

They say that if you are going to run a marathon then do it for a reason!

When I sign up for the Brighton Marathon in 2012 it was supposed to be a one-off and so I raised funds for Sue Ryder St Johns Hospice at Moggerhanger.

I remember clearly the outstanding care and compassion of the staff there as they cared for my Mum-in Law Stella Seager (Louise Mum). Stella had a heart of gold and spent her last days at the hospice, the care she received there was absolutely first class and so it seems fitting that I try and give something back.

So, this will be my third marathon, and along the way I have run 16 half marathons (I think), countless 10K and have covered more road miles that I can count (yep, more than 10)!

Please do support me and give generously, I do genuinely appreciate your help in giving to such a worthy cause.
