<p>We got to the summit just after dawn on Thursday 14th after a 6 hour climb, stunning views over Iran and Armenia. So thanks to all of you who sponsored me.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>*************************************************************************</p> <p>A year or so on and clearly I've forgotten how bad my knees get, so I'm off in early July to try to climb Mount Ararat. That's assuming we can get past some interesting visa challenges given it's on the Turkish/Iranian/Armenian borders. At around 5,200m we'll be in crampon and ice axe country again.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>I'm collecting for Hope and Homes for Children, an excellent charity that makes a real difference around the world.
