Thank you so much to everybody for all of your kind donations! So chuffed and suprised by how much you've raised for us. It was a beautiful day and we both got really good runs in with times of 1hr 33 and 1 hr 38. We weren't expecting such good times so we're really pleased. Hopefully double the distance sometime soon.

As you may or may not have been aware we have foolishly registered ourselves for the Bristol Half Marathon on the 11th of September.

 

 

So whilst it's all been a bit last minute, it only seems right that we should try to raise some money for a good cause in the process.

 

We will be running for the British Lung Foundation, which does a lot of good work for people with lungs and struck a chord with us particulary as we are both in possession of a pair and know personally many others in similar situations.

 

It's thanks to the fact that ours are currently in relatively good working order that we are in the fortunate position of being able to train towards this run. 

 

Breathing is so easy to take for granted, but when things go wrong you definitely know about it. Training has been a lot of fun and being able to do it is something to be grateful for.

 

A full 26 miler next year? Watch this space....
