On the 23^rd July I will be joining a crew & attempting to sail from Southampton accross the English Channel to Cherbourg on the northern coast  of France in a yacht!!! For those of you that know me quite well, you will be wondering if I have actually lost the plot completely. As I can’t live without my creature comforts like my hair straightners & my electric blanket & can’t even cope with a simple, back to basics camping trip. However, this year I have decided to find my adventurous side & take on some challenges that I wouldn’t usually do.  Most importantly though, this would raise money for Addenbrooks Hospital, to allow them to buy a new robotic surgeon to help with cancer treatments.

 

So I am asking you generous folk out there to please dig deep & sponsor me a few pounds or whatever you can spare for this great cause. In return I will do my best Captain Jack Sparrow impression & assist the yacht in reaching its destination safely & not hindering the trip & causing us to end up on “Seaside Rescue”!!
