Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. A message below from Linzi and Craig for whom I'm doing the run to raise funds for their son Leighton...

'As some of you may be aware our son has a very rare brain disorder called Lissencephaly. This severely affects his development with mobility and speech, he also suffers with epilepsy and extreme visual impairment. Despite this heartbreaking condition Leighton is an amazing toddler and fights hard every day.

He works hard at physio every 2 weeks, goes swimming in hydro pool every week, uses a standing frame which will help to build his leg muscles and has visual sessions introducing him to different lights and colours.

We have been looking at getting Leighton a special swing for the garden which both himself and his sister can share as it is designed that if one swings the other one will swing too so brother and sister can enjoy fun together. So any fundraising would be a huge help for the swing and sensory equipment for him.
