Ok, all completed in an amazing 23hrs 18 mins (a much better time than we anticipated!)
Have to admit I was completely knackered at the end, however, I think I have a new hobby of walking mountains in the rain, pitch black and gale force winds ! It all adds to the fun

The revised/actual timetable is below
08.00: Drive to Fort William
16.30: begin ascent of Ben Nevis
19.15: reach summit of Ben Nevis – 1,344m 21.45: complete descent – 10.25 miles in total – and drive 343 miles to Cumbria 03.30: arrive Wasdale Head, Lake District, and begin the ascent of Scafell Pike in the dark 05.30: reach summit of Scafell Pike – 978m 07.20: complete descent – 7.25 miles in total , drive 214 miles to North Wales 11.45: arrive Llanberis, Snowdonia National Park 13.55: reach summit of Snowdon– 1,085m15.50: complete descent – nine miles in total
Sounds easy sitting here typing it (WELL NOT REALLY!) The Great British roads, our fitness levels and the weather on three mountains, in three countries will have a huge bearing on the success of this challenge.
