Cardiff 10k & John O'Groats to Lands End Bike ride · 5 August 2013

Far too many of us have felt the pain of losing someone we love. With your donations, we power groundbreaking cardiovascular research to save and improve lives, bring hope to families, and keep hearts beating across the UK.

Story

My Employers nominated charity this year is the British Heart Foundation.  The Liberata Summer of Love (Your Heart) campaign will run through the summer to encourage us to get more active, have fun, and raise money for a good cause, all at the same time.

Liberata Newport will be undertaking lots of challenges and activities to raise money and promote a healthy lifestyle, from June through to the end of September.

In addition to raising money for the British Heart Foundation, each Liberata office has the opportunity to try and win £5,000 which will be donated to local charities, so please help us in our bid to win.

For my contribution to this campaign, some of the things I will be doing include:

  • Assisting a team of colleagues in a cycling challenge.  Between us we are attempting to cover the distance of Lands End to John O’Groats (1407km) on an exercise bike.
  • Competing in Cardiff 10k in September - http://www.Cardiff10k.com/
  • And joining a team in a rowing race (on a rowing machine)
