Ken and Karen are 50 this year - no, we can't believe it either!We have decided to raise cash for Voluntary Service Overseas www.vso.org.uk who send professional people to developing countries. Ken and Karen both volunteered in the early 90s.

It has been a fantatic year so far and thanks to all who have donated or helped with our events!

HOT NEWS: Ken completed the Great North Run in 1 hour 48 min and 27secs- not bad for an old cadgie!

We had a brilliant open gardens event in July which raised £855 despite the wettest weekend in 2011.

The two families also completed the Northern Cyclone Bike Ride in June with the boys doing the 67 miler and the girls the 33 miles.Thanks for all your donations.
