Story

23rd January. As many of you will know, our lovely friend Ken died suddenly and unexpectedly. The support he received through this initiative enabled him to get a scooter which he was thrilled to have, as it meant he was able to get out and about again. He was having a wonderful time with it until, on getting stuck in a muddy patch, he fell over. Little did he and Fiona realise that this accident caused irreparable damage to his lungs, and he died shortly after.

Ken will be enormously missed for his light, friendly and outgoing manner, his charm and his wit - a lovely man.

It has been a pleasure and an honour to support Ken in recent years. Fiona has very kindly asked that all donations from his funeral be given to Yes to Life, to help support others with cancer who need help in obtaining Complementary and Alternative Medicine. These donations can be made through this page.

===========================

Ken Robson is just turning 75 years -old and has been living with prostate cancer for an astonishing 19 years. In the 1980’s Ken and ‘the love of his life’ Fiona were running a bar in the Canaries. They were both healthy and happy, eating well, getting plenty of exercise, even detoxing at least twice a year. So it was a major blow when Ken developed prostate cancer.

Against all odds Ken, with the unwavering support of Fiona, has managed to control the cancer for almost two decades. Now they need your help. Click here to read the full story...
