15 years ago my mother was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumour and with only a few weeks left until Christmas she was diagnosed with 6 weeks left to live.

 

Thanks to all the great help and support of the Beatson Oncology Centre 15 years on my mother is still with us. They managed to cure the cancer but unfortunately could not remove the tumour once and for all. She has went through several brain operations to have this removed and unfortunately they can do no more.

 

They are a fantastic group of people and have been amazing to not only my mother but many people up and down the country.
