Dreamflight Fuli Trek 2012 · 15 July 2012

Dreamflight's aim is to take children with a serious illness or disability to Orlando for the holiday of a lifetime visiting the theme parks. To bring some fun and joy to these children whose illnesses cause pain, distress and disruption to their lives.

Story

THANK YOU for taking the time to click on my JustGiving page.

It means a great deal for all of us involved (there are more crazy people!). This year we are heading to JAPAN to climb Japan's highest and most iconic mountain, Mount Fuji. Mt Fuji stands at just over 12,388ft high. Our aim is to fly out, climb it at NIGHT to achieve the summit by sunrise, before climbing down again in the morning.

The climb to the top is NOT easy. Terrain is varied, the trail is not lit, and the weather can change at a moments notice. This is no easy challenge, by any means.

Please do spare a few pounds to donate to our team effort and contribute to this years Dreamflight holiday. Dreamflight takes 192 seriously ill or disabled children to Florida for a holiday of a lifetime, every October. It's a very special charity, making a real difference in these young childrens lives.

They leave their parents behind as they encounter new challenges, new experiences, new friends and new levels of enjoyment, forgetting whatever struggles they may have had in their young lives, and just be young children again.

Please help us continue making this dream a reality for so many young children who have yet to have this experience.

Personally, when I was in the RAF we did something very similar and I got to see the benefit that this makes to the children, please give as much as you can.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
