Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Kenny Mitchell was diagnosed with End Stage Kidney Disease in November 2007. Since then he has been in and out of hospital and off work for a number of months. Thanks to kidney dialysis Kenny was able to return to work in May this year and has been keeping very well since then, this would not be the case without dialysis treatment three times a week at Borders General Hospital in Melrose.

BGH launched an appeal in March 2009 to raise £120,000 to improve the Borders Dialysis Unit and we intend to help them!

Running with us is Graham Mitchell, Kenny's Dad, who is currently getting fit in order to donate one of his kidneys to Kenny next year. Your support will be especially encouraging to both of the boys!
