Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!! (please scroll down for a list of fund-raising events planned)   In February 2012, I am swopping my usual Horse Saddle for a not-so-comfy bike saddle, and setting off on a 400km ride over 5 days across the Rift Valley in Kenya.  This will be a test of mental and physical strength - involving difficult terrain and some off-road cycling in the rural parts of Kenya I will be joining 79 other Women in this Challenge to raise money for Women V Cancer - Funds raised by Women V Cancer will be divided equally between three important charities: Breast Cancer Care, Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust and Ovarian Cancer Action. I have also been lucky enough to find a fellow rider and mad Women - Laura from Penrhyn Bay, who is also in my cycle group for Kenya. Nearly three women die every day in the UK from cervical cancer with eight being diagnosed and facing an uncertain future. After breast cancer, cervical cancer is the second most common cancer in women aged 35 and under. <div> <div> </div> </div> Ovarian Cancer Action Ovarian cancer is the biggest gynecological killer of women in the UK. 12 women die each day from the disease and the UK has one of the lowest survival rates of the developed world. Ovarian Cancer Action is dedicated to improving women's chances of survival by funding research at the Ovarian Cancer Action Research Centre;
