We are attempting to walk Hadrian's wall over a long weekend (Friday- Monday) in June, a total of 72 miles and a challenge that around only half of the people who attempt it actually achieve. We have put in a lot of training on our evenings and weekends to give us the best chance and would really appreciate any support that you are willing to give us.

The charity that we are supporting is called "Chicks" which provides week long respite breaks for disadvantaged children from across the UK, who would not otherwise have a break in that year. In 2012, just over 1,100 children enjoyed a break with CHICKS and this year they aim to take 1,200 children.

The children we are supporting with this challenge come from a variety of backgrounds – those living in poverty, children that are being neglected or abused, either mentally, physically or sexually, children who have lost parents and also children who are full time young carers.
