Thank you for visiting my Race for Life page.

I am not normally the type of person who will beg for donations. However, there are certain points in everyone's life, when you want to do something to support charity.

I am doing this in memory of my Nana, who recently passed away at the age of 85 on the 23rd of February 2014 after a short and brutal fight against bone cancer.

This wasn't her first instance of having fought cancer, since she'd had breast cancer before, when she was in her 40s. She beat the cancer, having had a mastectomy, and proceeded to throw herself into whatever life continued to give her.

She was a wonderful woman, one of the warmest and friendiest around, and I am going to miss her deeply. She was so proud of me when I started to make costumes for other people, hence why I am running in one of my creations.

But I can't raise the amount on my own - this is where I need your help to help me raise the amount I have put down. If we manage to hit this goal (and beyond) it will be the biggest motivation I will ever need.
