Currently half the world is under 25, thats 3 BILLION people!

Restless Development are an organisation run by young people for young people. They believe that under 25's are a valuable resource in the fight against poverty, inequality, unemployment and HIV/AIDs transmission. As the largest and most energetic group of people in the world, Restless Development trusts that we can be the solution.

Whilst I am in India I will be contributing to Restless Developments aim to place young people at the forefront of change and development. I will living with host families in the villages where I am working as a volunteer to promote productive livelihoods, employment skills and safe sexual and reproductive practices among young people.

As part of my commitment to the placement, I must raise money for Restless Development so they can carry on their work. Not a single penny is going towards me, my flights, accomodation or training. ALL the money goes to the organisation.

I will be doing a series of events, starting with the Edinburgh Great Run in July.

so anything you can give would be greatly appreciated and would make the post-nightshift runs so much easier to take!
