For those who do not know, in June 2008 I had a near fatal subarachnoid brain haemorrhage that resulted in me being left partially paralysed and in a wheelchair.  To aid my recovery I challenged myself to complete a marathon bike ride and in October 2009 I completed my first ever challenge.  With the help of my NHS colleagues I was able to raise over £900.

I am now fully recovered with minor long term issues and in 2010 I plan to beat my completion time of 2 hours 20 mins and also aim to beat the £1000 mark with my fundraising.

Pedal In Pink is a fantastic idea to raise money for a cancer that effects too many women I know.  Hopefully by raising more money for this worthy cause I am doing my bit to help find a cure.
