Bupa Great Manchester Run 2012 · 20 May 2012

Greyhound Gap is a registered charity that rescues, rehabilitates and re-homes death row Greyhounds and Lurchers who find themselves in a PTS situation in UK pounds.

Story

My name is Kerry Astley and I will be running the Bupa Manchester 10k in aid of Greyhound Gap a charity founded by my Sister in 2003. Greyhound Gap specialises in rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming Greyhounds and Lurchers that find themselves on death row in the UK facing imminate euthanasia. Before rehoming all dogs are assessed and given all medical treatment needed including vaccinations, de fleaing and worming, microchipping and neutering. This as you can imagine costs the charity a great deal and having up to 80 dogs in their care at anyone time and being self funded means they are always having to work hard to raise the money needed.

Please support my run and help me held Greyhound Gap and the hounds.
