My story
Hi Everyone!
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
The charity I have chosen is amazing (Just a Drop), please check out my video link and see what I am fundraising for! It is a dream of mine to go and provide clean water and sanitation to a community, every penny you give I will be there every step of the way so you know your money is reaching them! I am hoping to be able to provide this to 9 communities in three continents with the help of the Scientific Exploration Society. This society provides engineers, doctors and dentists for each trip to make sure every trip is successful and worthwhile. I am paying for all my travel costs and expenses myself so that 100% of what I raise goes to the charity to help more people!

Just A Drop

Just a Drop is a water-aid charity which aims to reduce child mortality in developing countries caused by polluted water diseases like dysentery, cholera and diarrhoea. Currently over 1.4 million children die every year because of water-related diseases. That's around one every 20 seconds. We always look for practical and pragmatic solutions and provide communities with access to clean, safe water on a sustainable basis be it by building wells, hand pumps, water pipes and drainage systems or carrying out health and sanitation programmes. That way being healthier, people can soon take charge of their very own lives through local agriculture, employment and education. In doing so, we restore their overall pride and their sense of wellbeing. With 11 years field experience in 29 countries, we have undertaken projects that have made a real, tangible difference to the lives of hundreds of thousands of what were some of the most desperate people across the world. With your support we will continue to do the same for many many more.
