My story

Hello! I don't usually like to beg money off people so I'm not going to start now (although maybe this is a form of passive aggressive begging?!).

BUT:

If you have a few quid to spare, or even pence, I'd be so pleased to get it off ya! ha. I'm doing the 3 peak challenge (the Yorkshire one)...It's basically a 24.5 mile walk with three mountains thrown in which are about 5,000 foot or something. Tall anyway. And I'm going to (try and) do it in 12 hours on the 3rd March 2012.

I've chosen to do this for a charity called HI-CAP UK, which is a charity for young orphaned children in the Himalayas. The charity helps to clothe, house, feed and educate them...The lady who set it up, is Freda. She went over there trekking a few years back...saw what poverty the kids and families were living in...She then went home, left her job and sold everything in order to build a home for the children. Inspirational eh?

Even if you don't donate now, check the page out on facebook, when you see the difference in their little faces from having a warm place to live and healthy food, well, it's the sort of thing that makes you want to beg people for money. So...I thank you in advance for any donations! :-)

Note: I best get training :-/ This is pretty ambitious for someone who nearly flakes after climbing up Roseberry Topping xx
