There are an estimated 49,000 children and young people in the UK living with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition, which means they may need palliative care.

I am taking on the Power Peaks challenge with some of my Hays colleagues for Together for Short Lives to help raise vital funds towards our '6,000 Hours of Care Appeal', supporting the crucial work of children's hospice services across the UK.

Set in the stunning Peak District National Park, the challenge will consist of a 26-mile trek up to the summit of Kinder Scout, which is over 600 meters in height!
