Dear Friends
In September 2009, three of us cycled unsupported from Calais to Nice, 1300km, over a gruelling 5 days The longest day cycling was 277 km and the shortest was 214km (average 250km per day).
In February I have been given the opportunity to cycle with Lawrence Dallaglio and other sporting celebrities to raise money for Sport Relief and The Dallaglio Foundation which in turn will support Cancer DebRA, the Help for Heroes campaign, the PRA Benevolent Fund and Leukaemia Research.
I will be doing stage one from Rome to Nice which is 662km. The aim is for each person taking part to raise £3000 and hopefully achieving the £1m total target.
There are 5 stages which coincide with the RBS 6 Nations rugby grounds..Rome to Nice (662kkm), Nice to Paris (706kkm), Paris to Twickenham (442km), Twickenham to Fishguard via Cardiff (428km) and Rosslare to Edinburgh via Dublin (553km). Check the routes out below.

The BBC and Sport Relief have both agreed to feature the Challenge from start to finish and we hope to generate some donations while on tour too!
I really appreciate the support from my family and friends..so please donate what you can.
Take care Kerry Anley
