Story

UPDATE 27/04/2012

Wow - look what we have all achieved!

THANKYOU to everyone so generous to donate and sponsor my marathon run!

SO thrilled to have SO beaten my £ target AND managed to finish in 04:25:11 superb

AND I DIDNT WALK A SINGLE STEP!

On behalf of my nephew Adam and ALL the children at Corbets Tey

THANK YOU xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Never guess what? I have only won a ballot place for the 2012 London Marathon! I ran the 2011 London Marathon with a charity place for VICTA - what an experience. I didn't walk a step (but you probably already know that !) and completed it in a fairly respectable 4hrs 54 mins and 54 secs.

As the world's biggest charity fund raising event it would be SO wrong (although much easier) to just take the place, train and not bother to ask for sponsorship, particularly since so many of you have already sponsored me this year.

BUT my nephew Adam attends the Corbets Tey school and I want to raise some money for them. The school specifically helps children with complex learning needs. Despite Adam's autism and cerebral palsy at Corbets Tey he is being helped to become the very best he can be. Schools like this NEED our help

So please dig deep. Donating through JustGiving is totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
