My story
Hi All
Thank you for coming to visit my JustGiving page :)
For those of you who know me, your memories may (hopefully) involve me: promoting the underdog, supporting the alternate cause and doing my level best to promote the benefits of a healthy lifestyle ;)
Following in this spirit, I have decided to combine the above beliefs with a lifelong dream, and enter the Virgin London Marathon to raise funds for what I feel is a very good cause, The Laureus Sport For Good Foundation.
The Foundation takes a slightly alternate approach to international challenges, by utilising sport as a tool to encourage positive development and bridge-building - so beats the political approach ;)
In addition I will be updating my training progress (and training music choice) on facebook as I am a London Marathon Virgin ;)
Alladditional tips, hints and music choices will be considered!
Please contribute to my cause - all names will be put onto my running attire - consider yourselves my "mobile" support team :)

Laureus funds sports activities for disadvantaged young people around the world. Laureus promotes the positive effect that sport has in tackling some of the world's most challenging social issues from mental health, HIV/Aids, and substance abuse to crime, social exclusion, and violence.
