Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page for 2Nuts2manyCastles

Diabetes uk have a challenge page on their website.

So I have challenged Madrider1961 and myself Honey Monster to ride around Wales for a week Visiting Castles.Madrider1961 on his CG125 and Honey Monster on his XL600V Transalp to Start at Taunton venture into Wales and finish at Taunton where the HQ for Diabetes uk  south west is based  but I'm sure there's a castle at Taunton to start  and finish

Friday 3rd Sept 2010 to Friday 10th Sept 2010

http://www.diabeteschallenge.org.uk/challenge/2nuts2manycastles

How Many Castle's ? Dont ask, we don't know,  there are too many

Cadw the Welsh historic service for Wales says that  there are 427 which is why Wales is sometimes called “ The Land of Castles”

but we'll see what two nuts can do... an average 7 castles a day for 7 days might be realistically nuts!

Madrider1961 is "That nut" on the 125cc who has ridden his 125cc motorbikes vast distances in the last 5 years to raise money for various charities. I believe he's raised £30,,000 on his own todate.I first met madrider1961 on one of his Lejogle runs. He said I called him a mad rider  when i met him and the name stuck.

What is more amazing is that Stu, the Madrider is disabled himself something he plays down but when he rides pain rides with him.

Well now I'm going to be the pain that rides with him because I have challenged the pair of us to the 2Nuts2ManyCastles

About me I'm Kev "the other Nut"   known as Honey Monster

I'm not a well known Celebrity motorcycle rider  like my mad friend but I am a biker and I have completed a Lejogle myself and been involved in various motorcycle chartity events.

I'm the Quiet one so point your camera's at the mad one not me ( that's for can't keep up with you  Stu !!)

Oh yeah Two years ago I got carted off to hospital out of the blue, lucky I didn't die.

Turns out I had diabetes and didn't know until I ground to a halt. During the 3 days in hospital recovering I thought at some point I would do something for a diabetes charity if I got out of there

Raising awareness about diabetes is just as important as raising funds for Diabetes so even if you can't donate please take a little time to learn about Diabetes because just like me ,you or a loved one may have Diabetes or be at risk of Diabetes and not know it

http://www.diabetes.org.uk/

If you can donate and it doesn't matter if it a small amount or a larger amount it all helps

please do so on either this just giving page or on the diabetes 2Nuts2ManyCastles page and don't forget to gift aid

Thank you for taking the time for reading this
