Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Participating in a challenging cycle ride has been something I've planned to do but never "got round to it"!  Well the time for me is nigh!

And this will be a challenge for me. Although I consider myself to be pretty fit the event will require me to cycle over 100 Km a day on some days and cover 450 Km over five consecutive days in the tropical heat of the Far East. I'll be cycling from Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam to the historic and beautiful temples of Ankor Wat in Cambodia.

Yes it will be tough but that's the first reason why I'm doing it! Secondly the event will raise funds to support the work of REGAIN. This is the only charitable organisation in the country dedicated  solely to improving the independence of people who have become tetraplegic (severely paralysed) as the result of a sporting accident. Many of you who know me are aware of how important sport and exercise are to my life. So dig deep guys your donations will be going to support a great cause.
