Well, I said I'd give it a bash.........

Some would call it a mid to late life crisis, but this is something I've always wanted to do and due to recent circumstances very close to my heart, I'm hoping to raise as much cash as possible for a very worthy cause as well as wearing the most un-coordinated set of cycling gear that I can possibly find from the bottom to the top of the UK (see picture above for proof!)

If you want a laugh, read the timetable below but if you can also find time to donate anything at all, then I'd be really really grateful........and for those mad eedjets who were also showing interest in joining me for the odd leg - this is the proposed itinerary for the KE Travelodge Tour of Britain (this will become clear very quickly!!)

Tues 23rd July : Lands End  - Plymouth Travelodge  89 Miles

Weds 24th July : Plymouth  - Wellington Travelodge 96 Miles

Thursday 25th July : Wellington - Hereford Travelodge  94 Miles

Friday 26th July : Hereford - Chester Travelodge  97 Miles

Saturday 27th July : Chester - Morecambe Travelodge  87 Miles

Sunday 28th July : Morecambe - Carlisle Travelodge  95 Miles

Monday 29th July : Carlisle - Dumbarton Travelodge  120 Miles

Tuesday 30th July : Dumbarton - Fort William Travelodge  90 Miles

Wednesday 31st July : Fort William - The Crask Inn  130 Miles

Thursday 1st August : The Crask Inn - John O'Groats  90 Miles

I can't find any Travelodges North of Fort William !!!!!!

I'll try and master all this technology malarkey and keep you up to date with my progress as I go along but wish us luck and plenty of padding in my cycle shorts
