11 months ago, me and my brother had to make one of the
hardest decisions of our lives and agree to turn off my dad’s life support
machine. He had gone in for a “routine” operation to have some of the scare tissue removed from when he had bowl cancer but his body was too weak to cope with the trauma and never fully came around from the procedure and after a couple of days me and Iain were called to the hospital to make the decision. Even though he had beaten cancer twice it was the aftereffects that eventually killed him and I would like for one day for a cure to be found so no had to go through these types of situations as well.
