<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; background: white; mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Arial; color: #333399; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;" lang="EN-GB">Between 26<sup>th</sup> May and 16<sup>th</sup> June I'll be cycling a 1,000+ mile route between </span><span style="font-family: Arial; color: #333399; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;" lang="EN-GB">Land's End</span><span style="font-family: Arial; color: #333399; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;" lang="EN-GB"> and John o' Groats to raise money for the </span><strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-family: Arial; color: #ff6600; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;" lang="EN-GB">East Anglian Air Ambulance.</span></strong></span><span style="font-family: Arial; color: #ff6600; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;" lang="EN-GB"><br style="mso-special-character: line-break;" /><br style="mso-special-character: line-break;" /></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; background: white; mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Arial; color: #333399; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;" lang="EN-GB">Unsupported and carrying all that we need for a three week journey, my Brother and I will thread our way through Cornwall, Devon and Somerset before crossing the River Severn at Bristol. Heading due North and hugging the Welsh border we will eventually cross the </span><span style="font-family: Arial; color: #333399; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;" lang="EN-GB">Mersey</span><span style="font-family: Arial; color: #333399; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;" lang="EN-GB"> at Runcorn to continue the journey up the West coast. After passing through the </span><span style="font-family: Arial; color: #333399; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;" lang="EN-GB">Lake District</span><span style="font-family: Arial; color: #333399; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;" lang="EN-GB"> we'll cross the Scottish border at </span><span style="font-family: Arial; color: #333399; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;" lang="EN-GB">Gretna</span><span style="font-family: Arial; color: #333399; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;" lang="EN-GB">. With a detour to cycle the length of the Isle of Arran, the route will then veer North-East along the Great Glen to steer us up through Inverness and, eventually, to John o' Groats.</span></span></p>

If successful, we will have travelled between the two most distant inhabited places on the British Mainland.</span></span></p>

To keep its two air ambulances flying and to provide the advanced medical equipment they carry, over £4million per year has to be raised.</span></span></strong></p>
