My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I live with Alstrom syndrome every day of my life. I have decided to attempt a 200+ mile cycle with my friend and tandem partner, Dave, to raise money for fellow Alstrom patients and their families.

This ride is also to mark the transition of the Alström Syndrome clinic from Torbay Hospital, where the service was previously located, to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

My updates 2

Please continue to donate as we worked very hard to complete this ride and although the money will not ease the pain in our legs, the pain is only temporary - the money you donate will change peoples lives forever.

On the 25th of June we completed our 4 day cycle ride from Torquay to Birmingham. The ride was very hard, the distance was longer than first thought, the hills were very steep, the sun burnt us, the rain was cold and we are now very tired.
