Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

After a few years of visiting Bristol Dogs Home to walk the "guests", Carla and I finally cracked and ended up adopting Bruno, the Staffy/Lab/Dalmatian/Boxer cross. It was a great move on our part, as he is a great dog and friend, and well worth it (even the cost of reimbursing small children for the loss of their footballs!!!)

 

Anyway, as the Dogs Home have given Carla and I so much, I decided that, despite not quite being in my prime anymore, then I would try and give something back, as the cost of looking after the unfortunates is not cheap - there is often a lot of vets bills as well as housing a food costs for the little (and not so little!) dears. So, in a moment of madness I have committed to running the Bristol Half Marathon on their behalf, and I am hoping that I can count on you kind and generous folk to sponsor me.

 

I am confident I can get round the course, but due to perhaps slightly undercooking the training, I will be wearing luminous running gear as it will probably be dark by the time I finish.

 

 

Please dig deep, as it would be nice to know that I am not hospitalsing myself for nothing, and that an organisation that gets little publicity or thanks will get the benefit.
