On the 15th Feb 2013 I am off to Kiruna in Sweden, 145kms north of the Arctic Circle, to take part in what promises to be a great challenge and an adventure of a lifetime!   

After meeting and getting to know the other participants, the first task is to master how to harness and drive a team of huskies. Then enjoy the thrills and spills (hopefully not too many!) over the next five days as the 200km expedition takes us through the wild, mountainous expanses of Northern Sweden. Traveling over frozen lakes, through snow covered forests and into the mountains with temperatures varying from -5C to -45C will be a far cry from the humble fens!  

With the generous help of The Dorcas Trust I have self funded this trip, so please be assured that all of your donation will go directly to the Brooke. I’m sure you will help me to raise as much as possible for this great cause.
